My first thought at the start of my day with Richard and John was how relaxed everyone was, it felt just like any other day hanging with friends and family.  I was able to go back and forth between the two getting-ready locations and capture all those great wedding day candid moments.  Every detail of their wedding was perfectly selected, and I have to say the flowers and the styling of the wedding party is one of my favourites ever.  The warmth, charm and style of Mantells made it the perfect choice of venue for Richard and John, both of whom I would use the exact same words to describe.  The intimacy of Mantells also worked perfectly for Richard and John's heartfelt and humorous vows.  The acknowledgement of the importance of coffee to a relationship spoke very strongly to me, haha!  Our planned wedding party session up Mt Eden got shortened due to time constraints, so an express 20 minute walk around the local shops sufficed, and I think the urban look of the shots worked a treat.  So, a big congrats to you both and if your wedding speeches are anything to go by your lives will be filled with much love and laughter... and more laughter!
