Nikki and Kent's Wedding

Okahu Waterfront Venue, Auckland

When a bride mashes a piece of wedding cake into her man's face you know it's going to be a happy marriage - and I dare say their relaxed and easygoing natures will play a big part.  My day started out at Bucklands Beach with Kent and his groomsmen enjoying the cricket and a quiet beverage, then off to the very calm and composed Nikki and her bridesmaids at her mum's place to capture the tail end of their preparations.  The ceremony at the Parnell Rose Gardens was beautiful and only momentarily had a sprinkling of rain before Nikki made her entrance.  After the group shots we took a few bridal party photos in-situ then popped down the road for a bit more of an urban backdrop.  Then into the Rolls Royces (I love cool wedding cars!), a quick pitstop along Tamaki Drive and arrival at Okahu Waterfront Venue.  Thankfully the forecasted weather bomb hadn't unleashed itself yet and we all got inside unscathed.  Humour and warmth were in abundance at this wedding, with everyone delighting in the union of these two newlyweds.  Big congrats to you both and thanks for having me capture your special day.
