When I met up with Shea and Tony at the beginning of the year, it was like catching up with old friends, even though it was the first time we'd met.  There was much laughter.  I have been very lucky with the calibre of couples I've had the pleasure of photographing over the years and Shea and Tony are no exception.  If this was a dating website I'd be using down to earth, warm, gregarious and hard case a fair bit.  In fact I think my candid style of photography luckily resonates with these personality traits.

Castaways Resort sure is situated amongst some spectacular New Zealand scenery.  Throw in a wonderful old farmhouse, perfectly overcast wedding day weather and an amazing bridal party and I was like a kid in a candy store. Sure, it may have been a little chilly, some would even whisper hyperthermia and other mutterings under there breath, but in the end it was a good team effort and we got some hopefully memorable shots. Last but not least I must take my hat off to some spectacular dancing by the kids. Wow! You guys rocked!!
