I love my job. The best thing about being a wedding photographer is being part of such an amazingly happy and exciting day full of all the best human emotions. My vision is to portray your wedding day authentically and creatively, with a keen eye for love, humour and tenderness.
Your wedding photos should tell a story of memories that capture the essence of you as a couple. Every magical moment, every little detail, every special guest makes a wedding unique and wonderful.
I offer every couple a free pre-wedding photography shoot; the main purpose of this is to get to know each other so that you can be totally at ease with me on your big day. Many of the couples I meet say they're not so keen on having their photo taken, and the main reason they are drawn to my work is the natural way I capture people. Real moments for real couples is what it's all about. The more comfortable you feel with me, the more natural your images will be. I keep things very relaxed and free flowing no matter what the situation.
You should look back at your wedding photos and think ‘that is so us’, I want you to feel like I worked in seamlessly with the flow of your day and I know that every second I am with you I am dedicated to documenting the beauty and realness of your wedding day. Equally important is how I process your photos, contemporary and timeless is always my approach.

BEST PHOTOGRAPHER EVER! Adam brilliantly captured not only who we were as a couple but also our incredible wedding day at Mantells. We are not particularly comfortable being the subject of photos but Adam and his awesomeness made the whole experience a total blast and really really easy. We didn't want the formal posy photos and Adam took that on board and crafted some truly amazing photos. He was amazing with our pup Charlie and we now have some super cute photos with him on our special day. I don't feel like Adam was our photographer - I feel like he's our friend who happens to be a bloody genius with a camera. There aren't enough adjectives to adequately describe how ridiculously talented, professional, friendly, creative and funny Adam is, so I'll finish with the fact that I am sooo thankful that we were able to book him for our wedding and can not wait to book him in for future photo shoots. A little bit about me
I am a full-time photographer with weddings making up the majority of my work. I shot my first full wedding back in 2013. I also dabble in family portraits, corporate, real estate and food photography. I also create somewhat amusing prints which I sell here and throughout New Zealand in various amazing galleries.
When I'm not working my life revolves around my family, who are my everything. A couch and a coffee are a close second. Of course, being a photographer means my family are often cajoled into weekend day trips so I can play with whatever new gear I've just purchased or just as likely a little scouting for an upcoming wedding. When people find out what I do for a living they often ask about the craziness of a wedding day. I just smile and mention that my kids think they are the energiser bunny and compared to photographing them, a wedding is like a slow motion rom-com.
